STYLING: BELLA

I'm totally obsessed with masculine dressing. I don't mean, slightly androgynous, simple and clean, head to toe Acne, like you see so much these days (thanks Sweden). Hey, I totes love that look despite the fact it is becoming more common than  the completely saturated East London creepers & a beenie grunge look (thanks Ri Ri). I mean ACTUALLY DRESSING LIKE A MAN. Like, Annie Hall, like Kristin Scott Thomas in Gosford Park... google them, bitches! (I can't be arsed to post a pic. Tut tut! Lazy blogger.)

So I've been collecting these super, dapper, slim, silk ties on my buying travels. I have four, and I'm still working up the courage to wear one. I'm worried I'll look like a Pizza Express waitress. NOT. A. GOOD. LOOK.

I DIGRESS! I thought it was about time we did a photoshoot for my store, The Vintage Store, that went for a classic vintage vibe without being too twee and DA-DA! Here's a preview...

P.S. How bloody beautiful is Bella?! Totes well jel of that pout.

PLACES: TIM WALKER; STORY TELLER AT SOMERSET HOUSE

"Really I only photograph what I truly love. By this I mean I only get invovled with and place in front of my camera what moves me uncontrollably."

The underlying macabre and sometimes sinister tension to Tim Walker's photography, combined with a fantasical sense of drama and glamour makes them incredibly alluring and fascinating. Simply awe-inspiring.
